We cannot guarantee that 2.5m and 3.6m boards will match perfectly if ordered together due to slight batch variations. For best colour consistency, order the same length at the same time.

Acclimatise the boards on site before installation and check all boards are the same length/batch where possible for colour consistency.

Prepare a flat, solid backing structure and install battens to create a level framework with support points at regular intervals.

Check your framework is plumb and square, then plan the board layout and cut boards to length as required using suitable cutting tools.

Fix the first board in position, ensuring it is straight and level before continuing.

Secure each board to the battens using suitable fixings, maintaining consistent fixing points and allowing a small expansion gap where required.

Fit subsequent boards, checking alignment regularly to keep the slatted lines consistent across the wall.

Use matching trims and compatible accessories to finish corners, edges and openings for a neat professional result.

Once complete, wipe down the surface and remove any debris from cuts and fixings.
