Our Teak Composite 1.5m Balustrade Kit is designed to add a safe, stylish perimeter to decking, terraces and raised platforms while delivering the warm look of traditional timber with the advantages of modern composite technology.

The Full Kit includes:
1 x 1.2m post
1 x top cap and 1 x bottom cap
1 x hand rail
1 x base rail
9 x spindles
2 x top brackets and 2 x bottom brackets
1 x metal post insert
18 x lugs

The Extra Post Kit includes:
1 x 1.2m post
1 x top cap and 1 x bottom cap
1 x metal post insert

All visible components feature a Teak-effect finish that coordinates beautifully with matching composite decking and trims. The composite and metal construction offers excellent durability, resisting rot, warping and splintering when installed correctly, with minimal ongoing maintenance required.

Ideal for both domestic and light commercial applications, this balustrade kit helps define edges, improve safety and enhance the overall appearance of your outdoor space.

Set out your balustrade design, marking post positions along the edge of the deck or platform so that each section allows for a 1.5m span between posts.

Insert the metal post cores into the Teak composite posts, ensuring they are fully seated and correctly oriented for fixing.

Fix each post securely to the subframe or solid base using appropriate exterior fixings, checking that every post is plumb and evenly spaced.

Fit the bottom caps where required, then measure and cut the base rails to length so they fit neatly between posts, securing them with the supplied brackets and lugs.

Lay out the spindles along the base rail, spacing them evenly and fixing them according to the kit instructions to create a uniform, secure infill.

Measure and cut the hand rails to suit the openings between posts, then attach them firmly to the tops of the spindles and into the posts using the included brackets and lugs.

Once all sections are complete, press the top caps into place on each post, double-check all fixings for tightness and alignment, and wipe down the balustrade to remove any installation marks.
