Oak Composite Woodgrain Decking Board 4.8m

Create a high-end, timber-inspired deck that lasts with our Oak Composite Woodgrain Decking Board in 4.8m length. Each board features a deep embossed woodgrain pattern on one face and a practical grooved profile on the reverse, giving you flexibility in both appearance and surface finish.

Measuring approximately 4.8m (L) x 150mm (W) x 25mm (D), these boards are designed to offer the warmth and character of real wood while delivering the long-term performance of modern composite materials. The Oak shade is one of seven contemporary colours available across the range, making it easy to coordinate with borders, trims and other landscaping elements.

Manufactured from a blend of recycled wood fibres and plastic, this composite decking is engineered to resist warping, rotting and splintering. It does not require regular staining or sealing, and only needs occasional cleaning to keep it looking its best, making it an ideal choice for busy family gardens, terraces and commercial outdoor areas.

Please be aware that due to batch production, there may be minor colour differences between 3.6m and 4.8m boards. For a consistent finish, it is recommended to order a single board length for your project and to place your full order at the same time.

Plan your decking layout, confirming the overall dimensions and joist positions before you begin, and ensure the subframe is level, stable and built from suitable treated timber or composite joists.

Allow for adequate drainage and ventilation beneath the deck by keeping the subframe off the ground and maintaining clear airflow.

Position the first board at the outer edge of the deck and fix it using starter clips or suitable screws, ensuring a straight, square starting line.

Install subsequent boards using hidden fixing clips in the side grooves or appropriate surface fixings, maintaining consistent gaps between each board as recommended by the manufacturer.

Stagger board joints where possible and ensure all end joints are supported on a joist, with suitable expansion gaps left at the ends and around fixed points such as walls.

Finish the perimeter with matching trims or fascia boards to conceal exposed edges, then give the deck a final clean down to remove any installation debris before use.
