The Oak Composite Woodgrain Decking Board in 3.6m length offers the timeless look of oak timber with the performance benefits of composite decking. One side of the board features a deep embossed woodgrain surface that mimics the character of real wood, while the reverse has a grooved profile that provides an alternative finish and additional grip.

Sized at approximately 3.6m (L) x 150mm (W) x 25mm (D), these boards are ideal for garden decks, balconies, terraces and commercial outdoor areas. The Oak tone is warm and versatile, working well with a range of landscaping styles and forming part of a broader palette of eight contemporary colours.

Manufactured from a combination of recycled wood fibres and plastic, the boards are designed to resist warping, splitting and rot, and do not require the regular treatment associated with traditional timber decking. A simple cleaning routine is usually enough to keep them looking fresh throughout the seasons.

Because composite boards are produced in batches, there can be slight shade differences between different lengths. For the most consistent result, it is recommended to choose one board length for your project and place your complete order together.

Confirm your deck design, including overall dimensions, board direction and joist spacing, and construct a stable, level subframe using treated timber or composite joists in line with recommended centres.

Allow for sufficient airflow and drainage beneath the deck by raising the frame above ground level and ensuring water can run off freely.

Measure and cut the Oak boards to size, checking that each end joint is fully supported on a joist and leaving expansion gaps at the ends and around fixed structures.

Fix the first board along the starting edge using starter clips or suitable screws, ensuring it is straight and square before proceeding.

Continue installing boards with hidden clips in the side grooves or approved surface fixings, keeping consistent gaps between boards and staggering joints across the deck where possible.

Complete the installation with matching trims or fascia boards to cover exposed ends and risers, then sweep and rinse the deck to remove dust and offcuts before use.
