Light Grey Wide Max Woodgrain Board 3.66m

Create a clean, modern deck with the Light Grey Wide Max Woodgrain Board in 3.66m lengths. With its extra-wide 235mm profile and deep embossed woodgrain texture, this board delivers a sleek, contemporary aesthetic while reducing the number of boards required, making installation faster and more efficient.

The soft Light Grey colour is ideal for brightening patios, terraces and garden spaces, and works well alongside a wide range of exterior finishes. The realistic woodgrain surface gives the look and feel of timber, but the composite construction means you avoid the typical issues associated with natural wood, such as rot, splintering and high maintenance.

Each board measures approximately 3.66m long, 235mm wide and 25mm thick, providing a solid, comfortable surface underfoot. Manufactured from composite materials, the boards are designed to resist moisture, warping and general weathering, making them well suited to the changeable British climate. If you are looking to build a stylish, low-maintenance deck with a bright, modern finish, the Light Grey Wide Max Woodgrain board is a superb choice that combines great aesthetics with long-term performance.

Start by ensuring your subframe is constructed from suitable materials and built to the correct specification for composite decking. Joist spacing should follow the manufacturer’s guidance, and the structure must be level, stable and properly supported.

Plan your board layout, taking into account the direction of the grain, drainage and any features such as steps or edges. Allow for expansion gaps at the ends of boards and where they meet fixed structures such as walls, posts or thresholds.

Wide Max boards are typically installed using compatible hidden fixings. Begin at the outer edge of the deck, fitting starter clips along the first joist and positioning the first board. Insert standard clips at each joist to secure the board, then slide the next board into the clips, tightening them to hold the boards firmly while maintaining a consistent gap.

Cut boards to length as required, ensuring all cut ends are supported on a joist. Use appropriate saw blades for composite materials and take care to keep cuts straight. Once the main area is decked, finish exposed edges with matching trims or fascia boards to conceal cut ends and create a neat perimeter. Finally, clean the deck surface to remove any dust or debris from installation. Your Light Grey Wide Max deck will then be ready to enjoy with minimal ongoing maintenance.
