Composite Smooth Cladding - Grey

Our Grey Composite Smooth Cladding is a stylish and cost-effective way to transform the exterior or interior of your building. Designed to mimic the clean lines of painted timber with a contemporary twist, it delivers a smart, modern finish without the ongoing upkeep of traditional wood.

Each board is supplied in approximately 3.6m lengths with an overall width of around 157mm and an approximate weight of 7.8kg. The durable composite construction is engineered not to splinter, rot or warp when correctly installed, making it well suited to the UK climate.

The subtle Grey tone works beautifully across a wide range of properties, from residential homes and extensions to garden offices, sheds and light commercial buildings. It pairs well with brick, render, stone and other exterior finishes, allowing you to create a cohesive, design-led look.

The boards are low-maintenance and simple to install over a suitable batten framework. Routine cleaning with soapy water is usually all that is required to keep them looking at their best. Please note that cladding must be supported at appropriate centres (typically around every 400mm) and that colours may appear slightly different in person due to lighting and screen settings.

Plan your cladding layout, confirming board direction, trim positions and batten spacing before starting. Ensure the wall is sound, clean and suitable for over-cladding.

Fix treated timber or composite battens vertically or horizontally (depending on your chosen cladding orientation), making sure they are plumb, level and generally spaced at no more than 400mm centres.

Install any starter profiles, base trims and corner trims first, checking they are straight and securely fixed back to the underlying structure through the battens.

Cut the Grey composite cladding boards to length as required, allowing for expansion gaps at corners, joints and around openings such as windows and doors.

Begin installing the first board into the starter trim or profile, ensuring it is level, then secure it using the recommended fixings or cladding clips into the battens.

Continue to build up the cladding, locking boards together as per the system design and fixing each course back to the battens, regularly checking for level and alignment.

Finish the installation by fitting top trims, end caps and any remaining finishing profiles, then clean the surface to remove dust and offcuts before stepping back to inspect the completed façade.
