Co-Extrusion Duo Composite Decking Board 3.66m - Light Grey/Anthracite

For a sleek, modern deck, the 3.66m Co-Extrusion Duo Composite Decking Board in Light Grey/Anthracite is an outstanding option. Designed with two contrasting faces, it allows you to choose between a light, contemporary grey and a deeper Anthracite tone, or to combine both for striking patterns and borders. This flexibility makes it easy to create a bespoke look that complements your home and garden.

The board is co-extruded, meaning a robust protective shell is fused to the composite core during manufacture. This cap layer significantly improves resistance to moisture, staining and UV exposure, helping maintain the board’s appearance over time. It will not rot or splinter like traditional timber, and requires only occasional cleaning to keep it looking its best.

With a length of approximately 3.66m, a width of 135mm and a thickness of 22.5mm, these boards are suitable for a wide range of applications, including patios, terraces, pool surrounds and balcony decks. The textured surface provides a comfortable, low-maintenance walking area that works well in both residential and light commercial settings.

Ensure your subframe is correctly built using suitable materials and that joists are spaced in line with composite decking recommendations. The structure must be stable, level and properly supported before any boards are laid.

Decide which face of the Light Grey/Anthracite board you want to display, then plan your layout accordingly. Allow for expansion gaps at the board ends and along the sides, particularly where boards meet walls, posts or other fixed structures.

Begin installation along the outer edge of the deck, typically using starter clips to secure the first board. Position the board, then fix standard hidden clips at each joist, sliding the next board into the clips to create a consistent gap. Continue this process across the deck, pausing regularly to check alignment and straightness.

Where boards need to be cut to length, use a suitable saw and ensure all cut ends are supported on a joist. Finish the installation with matching trims or fascia boards to cover exposed edges and give the perimeter a neat, finished appearance. Finally, brush down the surface to remove any cutting dust and debris, leaving your new composite deck ready for use.
