These Walnut composite boards are designed to be used as part of a composite fencing system with suitable posts, rails or channels. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific system, using this outline as a guide:

Prepare and install posts
Mark out the fence line and set posts at appropriate centres based on the 8m board length. Dig post holes, set the posts in concrete and ensure they are vertical and correctly aligned. Allow the concrete to cure fully.

Fit the lower support
Install the bottom rail or channel between posts at your chosen height, confirming with a level that it is straight along the whole run. This support will carry the first row of boards.

Position the first Walnut board
Place the first board into the support, ensuring it is properly seated and level. Make any adjustments now to avoid issues further up the panel.

Add additional boards
Continue stacking or fixing boards above the first, following the recommended method for your fencing system. Periodically check that the boards remain straight and evenly aligned.

Install the top rail and finishing pieces
Once the desired panel height is reached, fit the top rail or capping piece to lock the boards into place. Add any supplied trims or finishing profiles to tidy edges and hide fixings.

Final checks and ongoing care
Check that all fixings are secure, the fence is straight and panels look consistent. Clean any installation dust or debris with water and a soft brush. After installation, maintenance is minimal and usually limited to occasional washing to keep the boards looking their best.
