Each trim is supplied in either 3.6m or 2.5m lengths, with an approximate width of 49.25mm including the lip, and features a smooth, modern face that complements the linear style of slatted cladding. The Walnut colour offers a rich, natural tone that combines especially well with warmer exterior palettes and timber-inspired schemes.

Manufactured from tough capped composite, these trims provide excellent resistance to weathering, insects and rot when installed correctly, making them well suited to demanding UK conditions. The UV-protected surface helps maintain the depth and consistency of the Walnut shade over time, with minimal maintenance.

External corner trims can be cut to size using standard tools and are typically installed before the main cladding boards to give the neatest result. Plan where the Walnut external corner trims will sit on your project, ensuring that battens are positioned correctly behind each corner for secure fixing.

Measure the required length of trim for each corner and cut to size with appropriate cutting equipment, taking care to keep the profile clean and undamaged.

Place the trim onto the external corner so that it sits evenly on both faces, checking that it is plumb and aligned with your proposed cladding layout.

Pre-drill pilot holes through the trim into the battens at suitable intervals along the height of the corner to make fixing easier and more accurate.

Fix the trim in place using exterior-grade screws, tightening each fixing so the trim is held firmly against the battens without distorting the smooth face.

Install the Series 1 slatted cladding boards so that their ends terminate behind the external corner trim, creating a tidy, concealed edge on both elevations.
