Co-Extrusion L Trim 3.66m - Walnut

Create a polished, professional finish on your composite decking with this 3.66m Co-Extrusion L Trim in Walnut. Designed to conceal exposed board edges and protect vulnerable corners, it brings both durability and aesthetic appeal to any outdoor installation. Whether you are framing steps, edging platforms or finishing the perimeter of a deck, the L Trim provides a clean and cohesive look.

Crafted using advanced co-extrusion technology, the trim benefits from a tough outer layer that resists moisture, UV fading, staining and everyday weathering. This makes it an excellent choice for UK gardens where year-round performance is essential. The warm Walnut colour matches perfectly with Co-Extrusion Duo decking boards, helping you create a visually seamless and harmonious finish.

With a sturdy 50mm x 50mm profile and a generous 3.66m length, the trim is easy to cut to size and versatile enough for a range of decking layouts. Its low-maintenance composite construction ensures it remains splinter-free, rot-resistant and easy to keep clean, requiring no painting or staining.

This trim is the perfect finishing touch for anyone wanting a durable, attractive and long-lasting composite decking installation. It enhances both the structural integrity and final appearance of your outdoor space.

Before installation, ensure all decking boards are securely fixed and the edges where the trim will sit are clean, straight and free from debris. Measure the required length and cut the trim using a fine-toothed saw suitable for composite materials.

Test-fit the trim to confirm alignment. For fixing, you can either pre-drill and secure it with appropriate outdoor screws, or use a strong exterior-grade adhesive for a smoother, screw-free appearance. If using screws, place pilot holes at regular intervals to prevent splitting and to maintain a neat finish.

When installing around corners or steps, cut trims to create clean mitres or butt joints. Ensure all pieces sit flush against the decking boards. Wipe away any adhesive residue immediately and give the trim a light clean once installation is complete.

Your decking perimeter should now have a smart, colour-matched edge that enhances both the appearance and longevity of the installation.
