Chocolate Woodgrain Trim 4.8m

Our Chocolate Woodgrain Trim in 4.8m lengths is designed to give your composite decking a clean, professional finish. Manufactured from recycled wood fibres and plastic, it offers an eco-conscious alternative to traditional timber edging while providing excellent durability and low maintenance.

The L-shaped trim profile measures approximately 4.8m in length and 50mm x 50mm in section. It is ideal for covering exposed deck board ends, cladding the edge of steps and concealing the junction between horizontal decking and vertical fascia or riser boards. The subtle woodgrain effect and rich Chocolate tone are designed to complement our composite woodgrain decking boards.

Engineered to withstand outdoor conditions, this trim will not rot, warp or splinter like conventional timber. It is a simple way to tidy up cut edges, improve safety at the perimeter of your deck and give the whole area a more finished, cohesive appearance.

Measure the edge or corner you wish to cover and mark the trim to the correct length.

Cut the Chocolate trim using appropriate tools, ensuring clean, straight cuts at corners and joints.

Position the trim over the edge of the decking so that it fully covers any exposed board ends or fascia transitions.

If fixing with screws, pre-drill pilot holes at regular intervals to reduce the risk of splitting and secure the trim into the substrate beneath.

Alternatively, apply a suitable outdoor-grade adhesive to the inner faces of the trim and press it firmly into place, following the adhesive manufacturer’s curing times.

Wipe away any excess adhesive and check that the trim sits level and securely along the full length of the edge.
