Composite External Corner Golden Oak - Series 1

The Composite External Corner Golden Oak – Series 1 trim is the ideal finishing piece for outside corners on slatted cladding projects. It has been developed to provide a smooth, refined transition where two cladded elevations meet, neatly concealing board ends and creating a cohesive, design-led appearance.

Available in both 3.6m and 2.5m lengths, each external corner trim features a smooth face and an overall width of approximately 49.25mm (including the lip), with a profile designed to sit cleanly over timber or composite battens. The Golden Oak finish introduces a warm, timber-inspired tone that pairs perfectly with matching Series 1 slatted boards and accessories.

Constructed from a robust capped composite material, these trims are engineered to withstand the elements, providing resistance to weathering, insect attack and rot when correctly installed. The UV-stable surface helps preserve colour depth and appearance, reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

External corner trims are easy to cut to size with standard woodworking tools and are designed to be installed before the slatted cladding boards for the neatest results. Whether you are cladding a full façade, a garden room or a feature wall, this Golden Oak external corner trim helps to deliver a high-quality, long-lasting finish.

For compatibility and performance, always use these trims in conjunction with Series 1 slatted cladding components.

Decide where each Golden Oak external corner trim will be located and ensure your batten layout provides solid fixing points along its full length.

Measure and cut the external corner trim to suit the height or length of the corner, making sure the ends are square and neatly finished.

Position the trim over the corner so that it sits evenly on both faces, checking it is straight, plumb and aligned with the planned cladding lines.

Pre-drill fixing holes through the trim into the underlying battens at regular intervals, keeping fixings clear of board joint locations where possible.

Secure the trim using appropriate exterior-grade screws, tightening them enough to hold the profile firmly without distorting the smooth surface.

Install the Series 1 slatted cladding boards up to the external corner trim on each elevation, allowing the board ends to sit neatly behind the trim for a clean, concealed finish.

Once both walls are clad, inspect the corner to confirm all fixings are secure and wipe down the trim to remove any dirt or cutting dust.
