Composite Slatted Cladding Silver - Series 1

Our Silver Composite Slatted Cladding – Series 1 has been developed to give any space a premium, contemporary finish. The slatted profile introduces modern, linear detail that works beautifully on exterior façades, garden rooms and feature walls, as well as on selected internal surfaces.

These boards can be installed horizontally or vertically, allowing you to tailor the appearance to your design. The Silver tone is versatile and stylish, pairing well with a wide range of materials, from brick and render to timber and composite decking. The result is a clean, architectural look that instantly updates older buildings and enhances new projects.

Series 1 slatted cladding boards are manufactured from a durable composite of recycled wood fibres and plastics, engineered to be fully weather-resistant and low maintenance. They are designed to resist splitting, cracking, rot and structural damage, and are backed by a 10-year warranty when installed in line with guidance.

Available in both 3.6m and 2.5m lengths, the boards are approximately 219mm wide and 26mm thick, with an approximate weight of 10.5kg per board. A full range of compatible trims and accessories is available to help you achieve neat corners, edges and transitions.

Because composite products are produced in batches, slight colour differences may occur between lengths or production runs. To achieve the most consistent finish, we recommend selecting one board length for your project and placing your full order together.

Plan your cladding layout carefully, deciding whether the Silver slatted boards will be installed horizontally or vertically and marking the positions of all trims, edges and openings.

Fix an appropriate batten framework to the wall, ensuring battens are straight, plumb and securely anchored to the underlying structure, with spacing in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations for Series 1 slatted cladding.

Install starter profiles, base channels and any internal or external corner trims first, checking that each piece is level and correctly aligned.

Measure and cut the slatted cladding boards to length using suitable cutting tools, allowing for expansion gaps at ends, corners and around windows, doors and other penetrations.

Begin fitting the first board into the starter profile or trim, confirming that it is straight and securely fixed using the recommended clips or screws at each batten position.

Continue installing additional boards, engaging each profile with the previous one and fixing back to the battens as you go, regularly checking lines, levels and joint alignment across the elevation.

Finish the installation by adding top trims, end caps and any remaining finishing pieces, then clean down the cladding to remove dust and debris so the Silver slatted surface is ready to admire.
