Slatted Cladding Connector Clips – Pack of 100

These stainless steel connector clips are designed to secure slatted cladding panels to timber battens while keeping all fixings hidden behind the boards. This concealed fixing method allows panels to slot neatly into position while maintaining consistent spacing and alignment.

Each clip is screwed directly to the supporting batten. Once the clip is fixed, the next cladding board slides into position, locking the boards together while hiding the fixing point.

This system avoids the need to drill through the face of the cladding board, preserving the appearance of the panels while also speeding up installation.

Clip Quantity Guide

3600mm boards: approximately 8 clips per board
2500mm boards: approximately 6 clips per board

Install horizontal battens onto the wall at a maximum spacing of 500mm centres.

Position the first cladding panel onto the battens.

Fix the connector clip to the batten using a screw through the clip hole.

Slide the next cladding panel into the installed clip.

Repeat the process for each board until the installation is complete.

Use one connector clip at each point where the cladding panel crosses a batten.
